Graduating from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in communications and minors in public relations and Spanish, I began my first step toward being an event planner. After graduating I worked for several non-profit organizations where I coordinated events and fundraisers. I was hired as the marketing director of Sysco Food Services for Oregon and SW Washington. In that capacity I coordinated numerous trade shows and sales meetings. I also developed my deep understanding of, and fascination with, the hospitality industry. I then went on to run my own marketing, advertising and public relations company for twenty years. Many of my clients were in the hospitality industry and non-profits. I again found myself coordinating events from fundraisers, to outlet mall and restaurant grand openings.  

In 2010 I re-branded my marketing company into an event company. This enabled me to focus on the thing I loved best in the whole world.…creating memorable events and weddings, filled with emotion and love. 

My thirty plus years of experience working with venues and vendors means I understand how an event works from their perspective. Looking at weddings and events from the logistics side first and then the aesthetic side ensures the entire event not only looks amazing, but runs smoothly. I have also created a niche within the Northern Oregon Coast area. Clients from all over the nation and the world have sought me out to plan and execute weddings and family reunions in this region
